About The Position
The Pasteurizer Assistant maintains the proper and efficient operation of all pasteurizing, blending, separating, and product transfer systems.
Requirements
- Minimum age: 18
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam.
Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate documentation on recording charts to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Blends, mixes, and prepares products for production.
- Works closely with production supervisors to ensure timely delivery of the product to minimize downtime on fillers.
- Works closely with the plant laboratory to ensure products are formulated and tested to meet plant requirements.
- Performs all necessary cleaning of all tanks, line circuits, and associated equipment.
- Monitors and documents chemical concentrations to ensure proper cleaning of all equipment.
- Works closely with Milk Receivers to ensure proper product rotation of raw milk inventory.
- Assists in dumping reprocess on a daily basis.
- Performs gasket replacement and valve inspections.
