This role coordinates the Pasteurization Department and the Neo-Pure process to ensure efficiency, food quality, and safety. The technician will adhere to and confirm compliance with GMPs, SQF, FDA, Internal SOPs, and other designated requirements, taking disciplinary action for non-compliance. Responsibilities include coordinating a team for pasteurization and sanitation of equipment, closely observing process parameters like flow rates and temperatures, and performing chemical and physical testing. The role involves communication with various internal teams and international manufacturers, creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures, implementing safety procedures, and verifying critical control points. Additionally, the technician will assist in equipment validation, pest control verification, pre-operational documentation, and inventory management of chemicals and consumables. They will also oversee and/or assist in maintaining cleanliness to SQF standards, manage timecards for the pasteurization team, and ensure proper disposition of overproduced products. The role also includes creating labels and performing other duties assigned by the supervisor. All staff are required to report food safety issues and have the authority to place products or equipment on hold if they do not meet food safety standards.
