The Passenger Services Supervisor is responsible for achieving operational performance and functional service activities. This role provides technical guidance and interprets policies and procedures to assist front-line employees in performing their tasks. The supervisor will monitor and maintain appropriate staffing levels, ensure schedules are complete, cover all call-offs, and accommodate changes in client staffing requests. They will also manage employee lunches and breaks, administer the No-Fault Attendance Policy, and participate in client briefings, communicating frequently with client representatives regarding operations. The supervisor will manage daily schedules, maintain daily shift reports for managers, and perform basic administrative and payroll functions if applicable. Maintaining communication with Duty Managers is crucial for optimum staffing levels. This role involves effectively coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, conducting service audits, and managing the movement of personnel between checkpoints. Collaboration with the Safety Quality Manager is essential to ensure the safety and security of the operation. The supervisor is expected to set a positive, professional example for the workforce and ensure front-line employee compliance with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, clients, and regulatory authorities. Miscellaneous duties will be assigned as needed.
