About The Position

Roadrunner Services is seeking long-term Passenger Car Delivery Drivers for local assignments involving automotive auctions and nearby dealerships or storage lots. Drivers transport passenger vehicles between locations and ride in a company shuttle van with other drivers to and from pickup and drop-off points. The company provides fuel, training, and vehicles. No CDL, special license, or prior training is required. The position is not temporary or seasonal.

The role is based at Roadrunner Services at Manheim Auto Auction in Hamilton, Ohio. Assignments run Monday through Friday for approximately 24–32 hours per week. Pay is $13 per hour. The assignment can begin once the motor vehicle record check and drug test are complete. Arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time for check-in and security procedures. The location is secured; interviews are by phone initially, and in-person visits or interviews are by appointment only.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a good driving record for at least three years.
• Must successfully pass motor vehicle record, background, and drug tests.
• Must be able to repeatedly get in and out of vehicles during the day.
• Must have sufficient vision and hearing, with or without corrective devices, to safely operate a motor vehicle, including near and far vision, adequate peripheral vision, depth and motion perception, and the ability to distinguish traffic signals and sounds.
• Must have a smartphone.
• Marijuana use or impairment is prohibited while driving or on assignment, regardless of legality or medical authorization.

Responsibilities

• Drive passenger vehicles to and from auto auctions, nearby dealerships, and storage lots.
• Ride in a company shuttle van with other drivers to and from vehicle pickup and drop-off locations.
• Follow other vehicles or the chase van in front of you.
• Follow safe driving procedures.
• Scan vehicles with a smartphone.
• Perform a visual walk-around inspection for damage before driving a vehicle.
• Work as part of a team to provide efficient and safe pickup and delivery of vehicles.
