About The Position

Roadrunner Services is hiring long-term Passenger Car Delivery Drivers for local assignments at Manheim Auto Auction in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a local driving role that does not require a CDL and is not temporary or seasonal. Drivers transport passenger vehicles between auto auctions, nearby dealerships, and storage lots. The role is listed as a full-time 1099 contract position, with an approximately 40-hour Monday-through-Friday schedule. Drivers should arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled time for check-in and security procedures. Pay is $13.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a good driving record.
• Pass motor vehicle record (MVR), background, and drug tests.
• Be able to get in and out of vehicles repeatedly during the day.
• Have sufficient vision and hearing, with or without corrective devices, to safely operate a motor vehicle, including the ability to see near and far, maintain adequate peripheral vision, perceive depth and motion, and distinguish traffic signals and sounds.
• Have a smartphone.
• Marijuana use or impairment is prohibited while driving or on assignment, regardless of legality or medical authorization.

Responsibilities

• Drive passenger vehicles to and from auto auctions, nearby dealerships, and storage lots.
• Ride in a company shuttle van with other drivers to and from vehicle pickup and drop-off locations.
• Follow other vehicles or the chase van in front of you.
• Follow safe driving procedures.
• Scan vehicles using a smartphone.
• Perform a walk-around visual inspection for damage before driving a vehicle.
• Work as part of a team to provide efficient and safe vehicle pickup and delivery.
