About The Position

Party Hosts ensure guests are attended to throughout their events so they have a memorable, positive experience. The role includes welcoming and assisting large groups, preparing and setting up event spaces and equipment, guiding guests around the theater, and cleaning up after events. When no events are scheduled, Party Hosts may be scheduled for Cast & Crew shifts. The position reports to the location’s Theater Director.

Requirements

• Cast and crew experience and proficiency in floor duties and concessions procedures.
• Able to work holidays, weekends, and late nights.
• Self-directed, with the ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Strong work ethic, organizational skills, attention to detail, integrity, and dependability.
• Ability to multitask and solve problems.
• Guest-centric mindset, can-do attitude, sense of urgency, and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience in a theater, restaurant, bar, entertainment operation, or similar role, with proven success.
• Experience with event planning or coordination.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist large groups of guests throughout their events.
• Set up events, including cleaning and stocking, preparing catering supplies and chafing equipment, setting up audio/visual equipment, cleaning and decorating event areas, and preparing concessions and food items.
• Break down and clean event areas after events.
• Know the location’s amenities and services and guide guests through the theater to scheduled activities.
• Work Cast & Crew shifts when events are not scheduled.
