Requirements

Ability to read and follow written work instructions and safety procedures.
Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to use measuring devices and basic inspection tools.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
High school diploma or GED required
1+ years of work preferred
Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity
Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude

Responsibilities

Clean aerospace components using approved solvents, aqueous cleaning systems, ultrasonic cleaners, pressure washers, and other specialized equipment.
Remove oils, grease, carbon deposits, sealants, coatings, and contaminants from aircraft parts and assemblies.
Inspect cleaned components to verify cleanliness and identify any visible damage, corrosion, or defects.
Follow work orders, engineering specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Handle, label, and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and company requirements.
Maintain accurate production, cleaning, and inspection records.
Operate equipment safely and perform routine maintenance and housekeeping.
Ensure all parts are properly identified, protected, and packaged after cleaning.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
Collaborate with quality assurance, production, and maintenance personnel to meet production schedules.
