About The Position
This is a temporary position for a Parts Washer / General Laborer in Macon County, paying $21.00 an hour for the day shift. The role involves cleaning metal components, inspecting, moving, and preparing parts, while also supporting general plant operations. Safety and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements must be followed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or vocational school
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and accept instruction and advice
- Punctual and professional "can do it" attitude
- Willingness to do tasks requested which can vary week to week
- Ability to lift 25+ pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods at a time

- Electric motors knowledge/experience
- Mechanical work knowledge/experience
- Machine shop experience
- General plant maintenance on factory machinery knowledge/experience
- Industrial/plant/factory environment experience
