About The Position

This entry-level position provides warehousing support to our service/parts department, which includes receiving and processing incoming stock and materials and assembling and sorting materials. This position will also perform daily duties such as filling orders from stock and cross-docking, pulling packing and shipping orders, organizing and retrieving stock, and managing to meet the facility's productivity and quality goals. Parts counterperson training will be provided, as will some driving when necessary.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • One-year customer service experience
  • Experiences working with technology, such as computers, tablets, and telephones
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Sense of urgency

  • Use and operate warehouse equipment such as order selector, sit down/stand up, store, and shipping of parts.
  • Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling).
  • Load finished products.
  • Move parts to the warehouse for storage.
  • Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, and bins according to a predetermined sequence.
  • Read, comprehend, and follow written, standardized work instructions and trained procedures.
  • Work cooperatively with others in a team environment.
  • Learn new tasks and adapt to frequent job duty changes as business and staffing demands require.
  • Complete tasks within designated timeframes to meet operational expectations.
  • Work in a dynamic and fast-paced warehousing environment.
  • Regularly report for work on time to support startup and throughput goals.
