About The Position

Altorfer Inc. is seeking a Parts Warehouse Specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for various warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory management, order picking, and assembly of hydraulic hoses. The ideal candidate will be computer literate, possess excellent organizational and communication skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team. This position requires a commitment to detail, a strong attendance record, and the ability to lift up to 75-100 lbs. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is also necessary.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of previous Warehouse experience preferred
• Computer literate
• Ability to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment
• Excellent planning & organizational skills
• Must be a self-starter, team oriented and commitment to detail
• Strong attendance record
• Forklift experience
• Customer service oriented
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, e-mail, and verbal)
• Must be able to lift up to 75-100lbs
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record (no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years)

Nice To Haves

• Familiar with programs such as UPS Worldship for shipping & receiving, Microsoft, Excel and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Shipping/receiving parts
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Operating a forklift
• Keeping track of inventory storage
• Order picking activities (picking parts orders and stocking new inventory)
• Assembling hydraulic hoses
• General housekeeping of the warehouse
• Other duties as assigned
