We are currently seeking a Parts Support Specialist- Warehouse at our Washington Court House, OH location. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Formal technical school training is a plus.
  • 1 year of experience as a Warehouse Coordinator, Parts Counter or equivalent in a dealership environment preferred.
  • 1 year of experience with Vermeer industrial equipment or equivalent commercial, agricultural or material handling equipment is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and able to meet Heartland insurance providers qualifications.
  • Ability to sit, stand, lift and lower repeatedly and for extended periods in both internal and external environments.

Nice To Haves

  • High-level of computer proficiency with ability to utilize CDK operating system.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-demand role on a consistent basis.
  • Demonstrated understanding of mechanical systems, components and parts, along with familiarization and use of associated technical terms.
  • Excellent people management and communication skills for both internal co-workers and external customers and suppliers.
  • Available on short notice to work overtime as customer demand or Vermeer Heartland operations dictate.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace, including but not limited to, warehouse space, lot locations, and customer "will call" location.
  • Operate forklift to load and unload shipments of parts and equipment.
  • Utilize available resources to effectively meet customer needs and enhance the customer experience.
  • Establish Vermeer Heartland as a trusted partner by conveying a professional and knowledgeable presence to both customers and internal team members.
  • Receive orders ensuring accurate count of items and prompt entry into the inventory management system.
  • Manage customer accounts, including sales order, shipping and return information.
  • Pull customer orders for shipping, transfer, or customer pick-up.
  • Organize parts inventory by arranged bin location system, adding locations as necessary within guidelines.
  • Completes regular cycle counts and inventories within the warehouse and lot locations.
  • Ship all parts, ensuring accurate entry into third party shipping software.
  • Commit to continuous learning through online and instructor-led training programs.
  • Maintain cleanliness of Heartland property and equipment, including collecting trash/recycling and snow removal.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations, adhering to all policies and procedures.
