About The Position

This role involves assisting customers at the parts counter and over the telephone, performing warehouse tasks, order filling, and separating customer orders for pickup or delivery. The position requires a self-starter with strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, and computer proficiency. Responsibilities include assisting customers in finding construction parts, face-to-face and phone selling, order picking and sorting, and eventually hose assembly. Daily paperwork and computer data entry are also part of the duties, with potential need for detailed notes for the first shift to ensure order fulfillment.

Requirements

• Must be a self-starter with good time management, planning, and organizational skills with a commitment to detail.
• Must have a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Computer skills /experience required.
• Excellent communication skills (written, e-mail, and verbal) are necessary.
• Must be able to handle general math calculations on money, weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Able to lift 75 lbs.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).

Responsibilities

• Assist customers find construction parts via online or in equipment parts books for their machines.
• Perform face to face selling and phone selling.
• Perform warehouse responsibilities including order picking and sorting activities for customer orders and service technicians parts.
• Assemble hoses after the first 45 days.
• Complete nightly paperwork and computer data entry.
• May require detail notes for the first shift so to continue to get all orders processed and fulfilled.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Occasional local travel may be required to deliver parts to customers.
