About The Position

We are an exclusive provider for Toro, Club Car, Bernhard, Salsco, Harper, Ventrac, and MCI-Flowtronex and Watertronics Pump Stations in Florida and Southern Georgia. Wesco has been honored multiple times as Toro’s North American Distributor of Excellence. On August 1st, 2022, Wesco acquired Hector Turf located in Deerfield Beach expanding our market to include from Vero Beach to Key West, including the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and the Caribbean Islands. The Parts Warehouse Associate will be responsible for creating loyal customers by providing exceptional customer experiences through the accurate pulling, checking, packing, and shipping of customer orders. As well as maintain strict inventory accuracy through accurate and detailed check-in and put-away of our weekly stock order from Toro.

Responsibilities

  • Pick 500+ lines per day with a 99.94% accuracy rate.
  • Accurately pull and label all parts on sales order.
  • Immediately pull customer pick-up orders and assist customers with parts to their vehicles when required.
  • Immediately pull all orders for the Service department.
  • Accurately identify the preferred shipping method for proper and timely processing of sales orders.
  • Gain a detailed understanding of the warehouse location system for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Match RGA paperwork to the correct sales order when necessary.
  • Pull and pack freight orders for shipping via Wesco Turf truck or LTL.
  • Perform daily put away of return to stock items.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Use extreme detail to correctly match part numbers and descriptions to the correct sales order.
  • Accurately check all customer pick-ups and deliver to the customer service counter.
  • Assist customer service staff with all pertinent requests.
  • Carry parts to customer vehicles when required.
  • Pack 500+ lines per day, ensuring items are packed to prevent damage and minimize freight charges.
  • Correctly identify the correct box size needed based on the items to be packaged.
  • Utilize parts knowledge to correctly package items to prevent damage.
  • Stock all packing stations with the correct boxes and supplies.
  • Inform Parts Manager of supplies needed.
  • Perform monthly box inventory.
  • Ship up to 350 packages per day.
  • Accurately and timely ship all sales orders throughout the day, utilizing UPS World Ship and FedEx Ship Manager.
  • Ensure the correct order gets the right UPS label and is shipped to the correct customer.
  • Load all packages shipped onto carts for pickup by UPS truck.
  • Perform detailed check-in of weekly stock order from Toro.
  • Correctly identify, count, label, put away, and scan all parts received with part number and warehouse location.
  • Operate utility vehicles to transport parts to and from the Service department.
  • Learn the computer operating system to perform jobs efficiently and accurately.
  • Learn and utilize RF scan guns for various jobs in the parts department.
  • Learn the warehouse location system to perform job duties accurately and efficiently.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies with logic and reason.
  • Be fast-paced and able to respond to peak periods of business quickly and effectively.
  • Perform closing duties including, but not limited to closing and locking gates, shutting down computers, cleaning work areas, turning off lights and all electrical equipment, parking forklifts outside, plugging in electric forklifts and ensuring all sales orders keyed before 3:00 P.M. have shipped.
  • Participate in weekly department meetings.
  • Build and maintain open lines of communication with all other associates and throughout all departments.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with all other associates throughout the organization.
  • Replenish locations from overstock.
  • Replenish all packing stations with necessary items.
