About The Position

This role is responsible for shipping and receiving parts, pulling orders, stocking parts, inventory control, and overall warehouse operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of one year warehouse experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office programs is required, as well as a general familiarity with computers, and the ability to learn new software applications.
  • Ability to read and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Must possess basic math skills.
  • Ability to perform these basic operations using units of American money and weight measurement, and volume.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to pass drug screening.
  • Ability to prove US employment eligibility.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for shipping and receiving parts, equipment, and supplies.
  • Stocks the parts stores with an appropriate amount of merchandise.
  • Responsible for inventory control.
  • Enters inventory into software system (NetSuite).
  • Responsible for cleanliness of warehouse.
  • Operates a forklift and hand-truck.
  • Practices safe material handling techniques.
  • Filing of freight bills of lading, equipment packing slips, etc. for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes.
  • Responsible for filing freight claims for damaged goods.
  • Complete deliveries to stores and customers as needed, in company cargo van.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, as required.
  • Demonstrate and promote a spirit of cooperation and teamwork throughout the Company.
  • Continually look for ways to improve our processes and ability to serve our customers effectively.
  • Improve personal performance on a continual basis.
  • Provide responsive, professional, and diplomatic customer service.
  • Answer customer calls and correspondence quickly and pleasantly.
  • Communicate with customers in a friendly, professional, and patient manner.
  • Perform all duties with the goal of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
  • Immediately addresses any customer’s concern and requests the involvement of other Company personnel as required.
  • Follow all company safety programs and report any non-compliance to Parts Warehouse Manager.
  • Notify Parts Warehouse Manager, Product & Sourcing Manager, and/or Safety Manager of any unsafe condition.
