About The Position
Maintaining parts orders for the service center and ensuring the organization of shipping and receiving of Parts and cleaning the Shop.
Requirements
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written French and English
- Strong customer service orientation
- Solid organizational capabilities and ability to complete tasks.
- Strong computer skills - with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Work effectively in, and contribute to, a team environment.
- Must be able to frequently lift 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Shipping/receiving and inventory management considered an asset
- Valid Drivers licenses, asset
- Forklift experience with valid license, asset
- Trailer/Transportation industry experience, asset
Responsibilities
- Create and manage purchase orders electronically.
- Receive, stock, and maintain parts inventory.
- Process parts orders and assist with quotes for service department.
- Obtain supplier quotes and order parts as needed.
- Handle inbound/outbound parts and customer inquiries.
- Perform inventory control, cycle counts, and reporting.
- Assist with shop maintenance, safety inspections, and property upkeep.
- Pick up/deliver parts or tools as required.
- Maintain accurate records and a clean, safe work environment.
- Support shop staff with various tasks and ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.
