About The Position

The Parts Technician assists with organizing and restocking the parts warehouse, supporting field maintenance teams, and carrying out manual and automated replenishment processes. The role demonstrates the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

The position includes researching and fulfilling parts needs for technicians, maintaining inventory and Service Hub records, reviewing requests for discrepancies and opportunities, and helping keep open requests current. The Parts Technician also supports training, purchasing and organizing parts, and packing and shipping parts to field technicians. The essential functions must be performed with or without reasonable accommodations.

Requirements

• Ability to organize and prioritize.
• Basic PC skills, including use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work with teammates.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to use portable electrical tools.
• Ability to travel independently for inventory purposes.
• Ability to navigate the Service Hub parts and inventory systems.
• Ability to identify patterns and trends in inventory usage and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
• Ability to operate a power pallet jack and forklift with a high level of skill.
• Ability to work a variety of schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Overtime may be required.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Experience with parts or inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Research parts needed by technicians for all equipment in the stores.
• Execute best practices for parts and inventory.
• Perform daily maintenance of the Service Hub software.
• Review technicians' parts requests to investigate discrepancies and opportunities.
• Run weekly reports on open parts requests and assist management in keeping them up to date.
• Assist in training technicians on parts and inventory processes and controls.
• Assist the Parts Lead with purchasing, labeling, and organizing parts for the warehouse and remote locations.
• Pack and ship parts to technicians in the field.
