About The Position

Sureway Construction is one of Alberta’s largest heavy construction contractors, with over 50 years’ experience, involved in; civil earthworks and grading, utilities and offsite, mine operation and aggregate extraction as well as Used Parts Sale. This role is for the Used Parts Division in Villeneuve, AB. The company emphasizes working locally and offers benefits, RRSP/TFSA matching, and a boot allowance. Requirements

Personal Reliable Vehicle
Valid Class 5 Drivers License
CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support
Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)
Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
Fitness to Work Assessment
Journeyperson and Apprentices will be considered for this position.
Apprentices must be in good standing with AIT.

Nice To Haves

Prior CAT - SIS experience is considered a strong asset.
Prior Komatsu experience is beneficial.
GET/Undercarriage knowledge is an asset.
Prior experience working as a Journeyperson Mechanic or mechanical background is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

Ensure orders are filled in a timely manner, using electronic order systems.
Complete broker paperwork for international shipping.
Ensuring time efficiency when filing orders.
Research, identify and communicate cost.
Assist with maintaining inventory.
Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.
Assist with Shipping Parts to USA with XPO, UPS, or Manitoulin.
