About The Position

Fabick Cat is seeking a Parts Supervisor to plan and manage overall parts functions within the assigned organization to ensure maximum profitability for the company. This role is crucial in providing excellent service to customers and enhancing total sales for the company. The Parts Supervisor will monitor expenditures, staff and develop parts employees, and build a work environment characterized by high productivity and morale. This position involves managing parts operations including counter sales, service shop sales, and warehouse operations, while ensuring good customer relations and participating in sales calls to secure business and maintain customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in business, marketing or sales is a required minimum.
  • Two to five years parts sales experience is required.
  • Candidate must be motivated and possess a personality capable of working and managing in a fast paced work environment.
  • Basic computer skills required, with a proficiency in Word, Excel and other office applications.
  • Professional phone skills, excellent work ethic, multi tasking skills and good decision making skills are required.

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage overall parts functions within assigned organization to ensure maximum profitability for the company in providing service to customers and enhance total sales for the company.
  • Monitor expenditures to ensure effective and efficient utilization of available personnel, fiscal, and capital resources.
  • Staff and develop parts employees to ensure a capable response to customer needs and technically capable parts employees. Hire, train, and evaluate personnel, promoting or firing workers when appropriate.
  • Build and maintain a work environment characterized by high productivity and morale.
  • Establish and monitor parts department effectiveness, including job and performance standards, utilization and motivation of personnel and use of available resources to ensure direction and success in meeting required corporate objectives and financial performance.
  • Work on a continuing basis to improve parts department performance.
  • Manage parts operation including counter sales, service shop sales, and warehouse operations in support of customers and product needs.
  • Ensures the parts department maintains good customer relations.
  • Provide effective customer relation activities designed to enhance continuing parts sales growth by customers, and support overall sales throughout the Company.
  • Participate in sales calls with the PSSR to secure business, maintain customer relationships and resolve any customer parts issues.
