About The Position

At the direction of the Parts Manager, the Parts & Stockroom Worker position will be required to excel in all clerical and warehouse areas of Parts Operations. This role involves maintaining a clean and safe work environment, operating a forklift, loading and unloading parts trucks and freight deliveries, and efficiently picking, putting away, and delivering parts orders. The position also requires basic skills in shipping, receiving, and freight handling, the ability to fabricate hoses, and to accurately and efficiently inspect and process cores and warranties. A fundamental understanding of inventory control principles and the ability to perform tasks with little or no supervision are essential. The role also includes accurately completing all required paperwork and documentation, effective written and verbal communication, mechanical aptitude, and intermediate computer skills including MS Word and Excel. The ability to learn new software products such as Warrtrack, literature/media requests, and SIB requests is necessary. The candidate must be able to resolve problems, make sound decisions, be organized and detail-oriented, and effectively handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The role requires working independently and efficiently, performing additional tasks as directed, and working regular overtime as required. Familiarity with the product line is a plus. The employee is responsible for maintaining professional behavior consistent with the Mission, Vision, and values of Cleveland Brothers and must be able to lift 50lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in a business discipline or Technical school is preferred
  • Strong customer service support experience in a mechanical / parts environment, demonstrating ability to quickly learn to use various computer systems is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with product line a plus

Responsibilities
