Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
1 to 3 months of experience or training OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must pass appropriate testing to advance in the ABC program.
Frequent sitting, walking, and standing.
Occasional bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
Constant lifting of 0–20 lbs; occasional up to 40 lbs; rare up to 50 lbs.
High level of hand and finger dexterity.
Constant use of hands and arms for technical work.
PPE includes safety glasses, nitrile and heat-resistant gloves as needed.
Knowledge of English language rules, spelling, and grammar for reading instructions.
Understanding of machines and tools used in basic assembly.
Familiarity with production processes and quality standards.
Active listening and communication to follow detailed instructions.
Attention to detail for consistent quality during repetitive tasks.
Time management to stay on pace with production flow.
Proficient in using hand tools and positioning small parts.
Able to read and comprehend work orders and technical documents.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity.
Color vision and near-sight acuity for sorting accuracy.
Ability to maintain focus during repetitive inspection tasks.
Strong problem sensitivity and quick judgment.
Candidate must be able to legally work in the United States; we are unable to provide sponsorship.
Position requires candidate to be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20).

Responsibilities

Read work orders and follow production drawings or instructions.
Assemble and secure parts using hand tools and fixtures.
Perform intermediate tasks such as potting, sanding, or color coding.
Inspect parts using basic testing methods.
Handle and install finished assemblies into enclosures.
Uphold Positronic’s standards of integrity, quality, and operational excellence.
Identify hazards in the workplace and report them to management and/or the safety coordinator.
Collaborate with the EHS department to meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, including OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA, and Amphenol sustainability practices.
Work with the Quality department to ensure compliance with AS9100 certification standards.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
