About The Position

Gordon Truck Centers, Inc. (GTC) is seeking a Parts Shuttle Driver for their GTC/Freightliner Northwest location in Coburg, OR. GTC is a premier Dealership Family in the Pacific Northwest, committed to providing first-class service to customers through the expertise and efficiency of their team. The Parts Shuttle Driver is responsible for efficient parts delivery fulfillment on a designated delivery route, focusing on the safe and efficient delivery and pick-up of parts to and from GTC store locations.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must be insurable.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Must have a DOT medical card.
  • Ability to drive Sprinter vans, pick-ups and a 24’ box truck.
  • Experience driving a manual transmission.
  • Ability to type and use computer tablet and/or keyboard.
  • Ability to send and receive calls and data via a smartphone.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver parts to multiple locations from the vehicle to designated areas, utilizing assigned devices such as tablets and/or smartphones.
  • Adhere to company safe driving policies at all times.
  • Assist with pulling customer order(s) when requested.
  • Keep accurate log of daily deliveries, utilizing tablets and/or computer keyboard.
  • Strengthen internal/external relationships with prompt and professional service.
  • Provide communication to parts department on internal/external customer needs and returns.
  • Help in warehouse as time allows.
  • Operate a fork-lift daily.
  • Operate pallet jack daily.
  • Keep accurate DVIR reports for vehicle.
  • Keep tight schedule with open communication to multiple locations as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
