Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
  • Must be insurable.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Must have a DOT medical card.
  • Ability to drive Sprinter vans, pick-ups and a 24’ box truck.
  • Experience driving a manual transmission.
  • Ability to type and use computer tablet and/or keyboard.
  • Ability to send and receive calls and data via a smartphone.

Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient parts delivery fulfillment on a designated delivery route.
  • Focus on the safe and efficient delivery and pick up of parts to and from GTC store locations.
  • Deliver parts to multiple locations from the vehicle to designated areas, utilizing assigned devices such as tablets and/or smartphones.
  • Adhere to company safe driving policies at all times.
  • Assist with pulling customer order(s) when requested.
  • Keep accurate log of daily deliveries, utilizing tablets and/or computer keyboard.
  • Strengthen internal/external relationships with prompt and professional service.
  • Provide communication to parts department on internal/external customer needs and returns.
  • Help in warehouse as time allows, operate a fork-lift daily, operate pallet jack daily.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle operation, loading, unloading.
  • Complete daily DVIR reports for vehicle.
  • Keep tight schedule with open communication to multiple locations as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
