About The Position
Billion Automotive is a family-owned business since 1935, known for its customer satisfaction. As a growing multi-state organization with over 25 locations, we are seeking motivated SHIPPING & RECEIVING ASSOCIATES to join our team in Clinton, IA.
Requirements
- Some applicable experience
- Basic computer skills
- Time management and organization skills
- Basic reading and math skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Receive, count, and record shipment data into the system.
- Deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated areas.
- Deliver parts to external customers in the surrounding area using a company parts van.
- Match packing list information to actual packed merchandise.
- Pack, unpack, and mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, or electronic marking tools.
- Operate forklifts or other machinery as needed.
- Verify computations against physical counts of stock.
- Examine and inspect stock for wear and defects.
- Follow and encourage adherence to company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
