About The Position

The Parts/Sales Support Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and parts support to both internal and external customers while maintaining accurate organization and control of inventory. This role includes responding to customer parts inquiries, assisting with parts orders, and ensuring efficient inventory management. Additional responsibilities include organizing yard inventory, unloading delivery trucks, performing general yard maintenance, and carrying out other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Online shipping, tracking, and receiving experience utilizing FedEx, UPS, Purolator, and DHL.
  • Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Knowledge of filling out waybills and bills of landing and international shipments.
  • Working knowledge of safe packing methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck.
  • Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work.
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

  • Working experience in Shipping and Receiving/Parts role preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed parts invoices.
  • Maintain inventory and cleanliness of the inventory storage area and yard.
  • Handle parts requirements of customers through counter service and sales.
  • Build and maintain customer relations.
  • Verify receiving shipments by checking order against packing list.
  • Assist in keeping parts clean and shelf section area stocked and orderly.
  • Generate parts sales.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Assemble sales products for showroom/ displays.
  • Ensure accuracy in all transactions, inventory, and procedures.
  • Participate in all manner of store maintenance.
  • Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge.
  • Load / Unload trucks.
  • Performs other duties as required.
