Assist clients by accepting parts orders and processing them in the most expedient, efficient manner. This role involves setting an example of good client relations and intra-company cooperation, writing Parts Sales Orders (PSO), and processing parts warranty returns. The representative will maintain knowledge regarding products and manufacturers, process unusual and complex orders to meet clients’ needs, and receive mail-in and confirming purchase orders. Additionally, they will make verbal and written quotations to clients, use the client account list for open account parts orders, and process cash sales, credit reports, and cash settlement reports. The role also includes accepting credit returns from clients, handling after-hours parts calls, and building hoses for clients as needed. The representative must stay current on Service Letter updates, work safely at all times, adhere to all applicable safety policies, and comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards. Additional responsibilities include assisting Parts and Service Sales Representatives with parts-related questions or problems, providing sales leads, and assisting in all departmental duties. This includes maintaining a working knowledge of Parts Department functions such as locating and pricing PSOs, picking, packing, back ordering, receiving, and shipping parts orders, operating Parts Will Call, accepting Service Department orders, and operating a computer terminal. The role also requires working within and promoting corporate values.
