About The Position
The Parts Sales Manager supports the Store Manager in leading store performance, developing employees, and delivering exceptional WOW! Customer Service. The role contributes to AutoZone’s mission of providing trusted automotive solutions by overseeing store operations, supporting sales and inventory performance, and helping maintain a productive, engaged team. The manager leads by example and works with store staff and commercial department leaders to support smooth operations and customer needs. Responsibilities include monitoring sales and inventory metrics, managing operational processes, promoting safety and compliance, and resolving customer or store issues. The position is part-time and requires schedule flexibility, including availability for mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

- Previous experience in automotive retail.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing employees.
- Maintain effective communication with customers and employees.
- Monitor sales goals, inventory accuracy, and performance standards.
- Follow store procedures; manage inventory and cash handling; control shrink; and support operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with store staff and commercial department leaders to maintain smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Lead efforts to exceed sales targets, optimize inventory, process returns promptly, and maintain merchandising.
- Enforce PPE use, promote risk management, and uphold company safety standards.
- Assist in managing commercial and hub departments to support timely deliveries and customer needs.
- Resolve customer concerns and store operational issues promptly while following company policies.
