About The Position
Joe Cooper CDJR of Shawnee is accepting applications for an experienced full-time Parts Counter Sales Consultant. This position offers a base salary plus commission and a five-day work week. The role involves overseeing the entire parts sales process, from initial request to final delivery. You will collaborate with the parts manager to source parts not currently in stock, handle special order requests, and keep customers informed about the status of their parts. Effective communication with both staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner is essential. Maintaining an organized parts department and inventory is crucial for accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of relevant experience in an automotive parts department or retail store.
- Excellent customer service and problem solving skills.
- Professional appearance and work ethic.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
- Work with parts manager to locate any parts currently not in stock.
- Complete special order part request.
- Communicate with customers on parts status.
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ensure parts department and inventory is well organized to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
