About The Position

The Parts Runner is responsible for the delivery of parts from the Parts Department to Technicians. This role involves identifying and reporting inventory discrepancies, stocking parts and accessories, and assisting with inventory management. The position requires maintaining an organized and safe work area, upholding customer satisfaction standards, and participating in required training. The Parts Runner must accurately record all hours worked and adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and core values.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Up to 3 years of work experience
  • Previous delivery or warehouse experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Basic computer skills needed to utilize the company timekeeping system
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Ability to talk or hear
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Includes frequent movement around Company premises and the outdoor car lot and movement in and out of cars
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations

Responsibilities

  • Delivers parts to Technicians
  • Identifies and reports all overages and shortages
  • Stocks parts accessories in correct bin locations
  • Notifies appropriate personnel of issues with orders
  • Assist with new inventory assignments
  • Performs inventory test counts as directed by Management
  • Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
  • Maintains CSI at or above company standards
  • Participates in required training
  • Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
  • Follows Safeguards rules and regulations
  • Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values
  • Complies with Company policies and procedures
  • Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties
  • Other duties as assigned
