About The Position

Holman Recon Center has an outstanding opportunity for a Part Time Parts Runner/Receiver to join their team and the Holman Family! This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and reordering parts as needed. The Parts Runner/Receiver will also receive and process incoming orders, pick parts from inventory, and package them securely for shipping or pickup. Additionally, they will inspect parts for damage, generate necessary documentation, and maintain records of parts movements. This position requires coordination with other departments to fulfill orders and resolve issues, as well as effective communication with colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with office technology and equipment, including computers, fax machines, scanners, printers, phone systems, etc.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in administrative services or related fields
  • Understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping software may be required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with automotive parts, either in a dealership, auto parts store, or repair shop preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records.

  • Inspect parts for damage or defects before shipping or issuing to customers.
  • Generate invoices, packing slips, and other documentation for shipped orders.
  • Maintain records of parts movements, including transfers, returns, and adjustments.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as service, sales, and accounting, to fulfill orders and resolve issues.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
