About The Position

This position, located in Corsicana, TX, is for a Parts Room Clerk/Storeroom Admin. The role supports plant production to achieve stockroom supply goals. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision, and possesses advanced computer skills. The primary responsibility is to ensure parts are readily available for all manufacturing and related equipment. Compensation for this role ranges from $20.00 to $27.00 per hour, paid weekly. The available shift is Days, Monday through Friday. The job responsibilities listed are not exhaustive, and other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft skills (outlook, power point, word, etc)
  • Capable of communicating in front of large groups and interacting with peers and site leaders
  • Ability to work independently as well as working with others effectively to complete work assignments
  • Proven experience in effectively coaching peers
  • Willingness to coach leaders
  • Previous experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment
  • Flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as needed
  • Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours due to the nature of the work
  • Must be able to wear the required PPE to enter the plant/complete the tasks
  • Regular and timely attendance

Responsibilities

  • Seek to understand and support a safety culture and workplace
  • Remain aware of surroundings and obtain knowledge of all required PPE for the job
  • Responsible for following all required safety procedures are for each task you do
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Immediately address and escalate any safety concern, risk, hazard, near miss, or injury immediately to the appropriate supervision on shift
  • Assist maintenance department to acquire needed services and parts
  • Assist site personnel with SAP inquires and issues
  • Resolve all internal and external receiving issues
  • Must work well with all levels of the organization
  • Effectively communicate written and verbally up and down the Pactiv organization, as well as to outside Pactiv vendors and contractors
  • Ensure all parts are received I daily and restock shelves in a timely manner
  • Daily cycle counts required
  • Sweep and organize storeroom area weekly
  • All other duties assigned
  • Back up other employees
