About The Position
The Parts Room Attendant oversees inventory control in the storeroom, including receiving, storing, and managing maintenance supplies and miscellaneous items. The role supports parts-room team members and ensures tasks are completed accurately and on time. It maintains inventory records in the system, organizes parts in designated bins with appropriate minimum and maximum levels, and manages storeroom operations when the Supervisor is absent. Other duties may be assigned as needed. The position is on A Shift at RVI Harmony. It has no supervisory responsibilities and requires no travel. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Six months or more of experience in maintenance or a parts room preferred.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office highly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, and suppliers.
- Ability to read and write and possess basic math skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift objects weighing 50 or more pounds occasionally.
