Parts Room Attendant
About The Position
Provides prompt, accurate, and efficient processing of all parts transactions and related warehouse activities. Ships items from the facility, receives items into the facility, and organizes and stocks all incoming items. Disperses parts and materials to other workers in the company and enters transactions into the company database for each item received or dispersed. Maintains inventory records. May drive a company truck to pick up incoming stock or deliver items to other company or community locations. Responds to customers’ needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner and demonstrates a sense of urgency.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Possession of valid Ohio driver’s license
- Previous forklift experience
- Clerical experience and knowledge of internal inventory.
- Familiarity with computer use and systems
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Satisfactory communication skills, both oral and written
- Satisfactory customer service skills
- Self-motivation
- High energy level
- Excellent attendance
