About The Position

This position is responsible for inventory control in the maintenance shop as well as receiving and storing supplies, maintenance supplies and miscellaneous receivers. The parts attendant maintains inventories in the SAP and TMMS systems which makes computer proficiency required. The lead is responsible assisting others in the part room and ensuring work is completed accurately and timely. All other duties tasks assigned by management. Duties that the “lead” does include: Assist in the coordination and management of the organization's laundry program. Order and manage uniform inventory to meet operational needs. Operate a forklift for efficient movement of supplies within the facility. Unload trucks, check in stock, and receive goods accurately. Key inventory data into the system for tracking and reporting purposes. Issue parts and supplies following established procedures. Conduct cycle counts and make necessary adjustments to maintain accurate inventory levels. Assist supply window during shift change. All labels, new inventory, deleted inventory, finding allocations Running reports and corrections at least twice a week for the entire department. Cover for absences including the absence of the Supply Manager.

Requirements

  • GED or High School diploma preferred
  • Prefer experience in maintenance or parts room
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows programs SAP and Microsoft Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to read and write
  • Possess basic math skills
  • Able to work well with others
  • Ability to lift objects weighing at least 70 pounds
  • Ability to walk on concrete surfaces distances up to mile numerous times daily
  • Ability to withstand heat cold inclement weather and odors
  • Resume will be required for consideration for this position
