About The Position
Performs product inspections and audits to verify conformance to established requirements. Documents and communicates inspection results to leadership. Participates in problem-solving activities as needed. Performs other duties as identified by the Quality Engineer/Supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Experience in marine manufacturing processes
- Able to understand spoken instructions with regard to job training and safety concerns
- Ability to speak conversational English
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed finishing of all products
- Ability to deal with changes related to equipment use and productivity
Responsibilities
- Through visual examination, testing, etc. compare actual product quality and/or process to established by (a) posted or written rules, settings, or instructions, (b) common plant knowledge, or (c) other means of communicating requirements as understood by process personnel.
- Record and input inspection data and/or audits in various systems to document findings.
- Notify manufacturing and QA leadership regarding product quality problems.
