About The Position

This role is responsible for leading quality assurance initiatives, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring that all products meet internal and external quality standards. This role is also responsible for enhancing operational performance by transitioning from reliance on trailing indicators to proactive, leading metrics. The position will drive the automation of data collection processes and leverage artificial intelligence to improve statistical analysis to increase predictability, and enable more informed, forward-looking decision-making across operations. A direct focus on Customer Satisfaction is needed.

Requirements

  • Proficient in MS Office, Minitab, SAP
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and summarize data related to Returns and Allowances (R&A), Defective Work (DW), and Process Waste (PW).
  • Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain and update dashboards (UpLH, R&A, DW, PW, WCI, GLA) to track key performance metrics.
  • Lead and support global continuous improvement (CI) efforts using the 4-Step CI process to enhance product quality.
  • Share and implement best practices across the organization to drive operational efficiency and quality improvement.
  • Leverage technology and digital tools to reduce administrative tasks and prevent quality-related issues.
  • Train/develop employees on CI methods, including statistical analysis.
  • Confirm that site-level quality routines are in place and consistently meet company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with the MC Quality Policy and Business Management System (BMS).
  • Oversee certificate of analysis (COA) procedures for incoming materials to verify quality compliance.
  • Oversee and manage customer and supplier surveys and quality audits.
  • Act as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality expectations.
  • Lead General Ledger (GLA) budget reviews to monitor spending and identify cost-reduction opportunities at the site level.
  • Follow all publicized safety policies/procedures and JIBS applicable to the job.
  • Use appropriate PPE that has been identified on the Hazard Analysis for the department/role.
  • Attend and participate in all safety training, safety meetings, audits, and Behavior Based Safety programs assigned.
  • Report all safety hazards observed. If capable, correct the safety hazard identified.
