About The Position

Primarily responsible for assisting and supporting Parts Purchasing and Distribution purchasing teams for repair service items and inventory. Parts Purchasing Specialist is responsible for facilitating orders for inventory and maintaining accurate information on incoming items to support the production staff and must continually ensure that purchase orders are processed in an efficient and profitable manner.

Requirements

Experience in industrial, electrical, and electronic industries.
1-2 years Procurement
Ebay proficient
Paypal/Credit card proficiency, including balancing Credit Card statements.
Negotiation skills
Detail oriented
Computer proficiency
Computer proficiency
Strong ability to multi-task
Ability to work at fast pace
Attention to detail and accuracy
Problem solving abilities
Good communication and organizational skills
One to three years related experience and/or training

Prior eBay and PayPal knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

Purchase Ebay item requests using PayPal for the USA Production PO Portal, while managing and monitoring offers and bids (main responsibilities: NJ/NC/GA/MIA/MO/TX/AZ)
Process, confirm, update, and manage PO’s & payments in USA Production Portal
Confirm purchase orders with price, part number and lead-time establishing consistent order follow up by contacting vendors to assure orders are being processed in a timely manner and meet required delivery dates. Communicate any errors to Production Buyers for corrective action.
Maintain Expedite report / open order reports proactively to ensure on-time delivery dates. Communicate all delayed PO dates of Parts through Spectrum email to Buyer and/or @Production
Process returns and correct supplier shipment issues based on company policies.
Work directly with Command Center for correct p/n generation on items not in Radwell database
Develop and maintain relationships with global suppliers for the best cost and most efficient ordering. Maintain and update vendor and sourcing information in multiple software platforms. Evaluate vendors continuously on quality, price, and lead time to ensure highest possible repair success rate.
Support other Buyers & Radwell branches with duties listed above when needed. And work with Parts Buyers and Company Management to help develop/maintain the most efficient processes regarding all duties listed above.
Additional tasks to be defined by Distribution Purchasing Planning Supervisor: assigned Portal duties to place TBD Supplier Stocking POs/Transfers.
