About The Position
Our client in Taylor, MI is in need of Parts Pullers for their facility. They have a 3rd shift position available, $16.45 per hour, Monday-Friday with possible overtime. The purpose of this job is to perform miscellaneous general labor activities, including pulling parts off a laser machine.
Requirements
- Ability to learn and master new skills
- Ability to understand and follow directions and rules
- Ability to safely and effectively operate various machinery and equipment
- Ability to produce (quality and quantity) parts that meet specifications and expected output levels
- Ability to visually identify and correct deficiencies in parts produced
- Ability to interact appropriately and collaborate with fellow employees and management
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) with other employees and management
- Ability to demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced manufacturing environment with the flexibility to prioritize duties and multi-task at different levels
- Familiarity with general metalworking and stamping equipment
- Ability to read and understand job instructions
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with others

Responsibilities
- Pulling parts off the laser machine
- Operating machinery and equipment as directed
- Counting parts accurately that are produced by various machines and equipment
- ID parts where required
- Processing parts (clean, finish, assemble, package and transport)
- Cleaning and other general shop tasks
- Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
