About The Position

Performs picking, delivery and transfer of all parts, supplies, and accompanying paperwork to company technicians. Serves as direct liaison for materials transfer between Branch Operations and Field Service Technicians to allow for improved access to parts and other materials or written communications coming from the branch facility.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of computer such as keyboard, 10-key, Microsoft Office, and ERP system.
  • Skilled in customer relations.
  • Skilled in both written and oral communications within all levels of an organization both internally and externally.
  • Ability to match, sort and collate information as well as organize data.
  • Ability to operate Hydraulic Press Equipment.
  • Ability to operate various forklifts and complete required SOTM training for the same.
  • Ability to perform research and utilize multiple sources in order to expedite orders to fulfill internal and external customer needs.
  • Ability to multi-task, plan and prioritize work, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and apply reasoning.
  • High School diploma/GED
  • Minimum of six months practical skills experience.
  • Good people skills and verbal communication is necessary.
  • Basic computer familiarity and knowledge.
  • Maintain a good driving record as required under the Company’s Safety Program.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers parts, paperwork, and supplies to Field Service Technicians and Company Drop Sites.
  • Presses tires for Field Service Technicians as required.
  • Coordinates and schedules company van maintenance (i.e., oil changes, car washes, miscellaneous repairs, etc.).
  • Responsible for the delivery and pickup to service vans of cores, uniforms, environmental contaminants, and consumable commodities.
  • Provides excellent customer relations by exchanging information with courtesy and consideration.
  • Effectively communicates customer issues and concerns regarding accounts to Service Manager and FSMs.
  • Picks parts and supplies to fulfill customer, technician, and van orders.
  • Ship orders via shipping carrier processing standards.
  • Checks supplier parts packing slips, confirms receipt of product in good condition, and inputs into ERP system.
  • Dates, signs, and forwards all completed packing slips to Parts Warehouse Supervisor.
