About The Position

Brandt has an opportunity for a Parts Person to join their Hastings team. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service across phone, email, and in-store interactions, providing expert guidance on a wide range of outdoor power equipment, accessories, and parts. The Parts Person will assist customers with purchases, product selection, and after-sales support, including troubleshooting and returns. Key responsibilities also include building strong, long-term relationships with customers, maintaining accurate records using CRM systems, and resolving customer issues efficiently while upholding brand reputation. The role supports merchandising, stock presentation, and showroom excellence, and requires collaboration with the wider team for a seamless customer experience. Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer service or retail, ideally within outdoor power equipment, landscaping, agriculture, or arboriculture
  • A genuine interest in premium equipment and a willingness to develop in-depth product knowledge across John Deere and STIHL ranges
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and provide clear, practical advice
  • Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer needs
  • Confidence using technology, including CRM and point-of-sale systems
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude with the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience with outdoor equipment is highly regarded
