About The Position

The role of the Parts Order Clerk is to efficiently receive, maintain inventory, put away part stock, work reports, email vendors, answer phones and distribute parts for merchandise carried by AFW. The Parts Order Clerk is also responsible for pulling parts for Customers, Repair Technicians, Service Technicians, Department Managers and other AFW facilities that request merchandise.

Requirements

  • Basic computer knowledge, typing, and 10-key skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Ability to communicate via phone, email, web, and text message.
  • Ability to multitask, be highly organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to help other departments, work as a team, and work independently of direct supervision.
  • Ability to operate a radio frequency (RF) scanner.

Responsibilities
