About The Position

Crown Equipment Corporation, a global leader in lift truck manufacturing, is seeking a Parts Manager to oversee the financial performance and inventory management of the parts department. This role involves coordinating daily activities, setting inventory levels, managing vendor invoices, and contributing to parts strategy. The Parts Manager will also engage with customers, address service issues, and lead a team of parts personnel. This position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate lift trucks.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
Good computer skills required.

Nice To Haves

Five to seven years’ experience in parts distribution preferred.
Experience with the Company preferred.
Two year college degree preferred.
Prior experience in parts distribution.

Responsibilities

Manage the financial performance of the parts department.
Manage inventories located at the branch office, in parts vans, and on consignment.
Conduct meetings with parts personnel to coordinate day-to-day activities.
Set and review parts inventory levels.
Monitor overstocked and understocked parts.
Assist with periodic return of overstocked items to corporate office.
Review and approve vendor invoices.
Conduct and participate in parts strategy meetings.
Assist with account strategy.
Participate in product demonstrations.
Maintain direct contact with current and prospective customers at end user locations.
Address customer service issues.
Select, train, develop, and counsel direct reports.
Prepare budget for management approval.
