About The Position

Joe Morgan Honda is seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department. As the Parts Manager, you will oversee all aspects of parts operations, inventory management, profitability, and team development while ensuring outstanding customer service and efficiency throughout the department.

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a Background and Drug screen
  • Have a valid and clean driving record
  • Previous automotive parts management experience required.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, purchasing, and parts operations.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Honda experience preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with dealership management systems (CDK experience is a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the Parts Department.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and monitor stock to minimize obsolescence and shortages.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure timely ordering, receiving, and distribution of parts.
  • Work closely with the Service Department to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor departmental performance and profitability, establishing goals and action plans as needed.
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and develop parts department staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer standards.
  • Analyze reports and implement strategies to increase sales and improve efficiency.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to retail, wholesale, and internal customers.
