About The Position
Tom Wood Powersports in Anderson, IN is seeking a dedicated and experienced Parts Manager to lead our parts department specializing in powersports vehicles. The ideal candidate will oversee inventory management, vendor relations, and customer service to ensure efficient operations and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in parts management within the powersports or automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of powersports vehicles, parts, and accessories.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to commute to Anderson, IN.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the parts department including inventory control, ordering, and stocking.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
- Assist customers with parts inquiries and provide expert guidance to ensure proper fit and function.
- Train, supervise, and motivate parts department staff to achieve departmental goals.
- Collaborate with service and sales teams to support overall dealership operations.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to parts sales, inventory, and costs.
