About The Position

We are seeking a Parts Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of parts ordering, tracking, receiving, and inventory to ensure efficient and high-quality collision repair services.

Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Valid Driver’s License
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Experience in a parts capacity in the automotive industry
Ability to read and understand instructions and work orders
Proficient knowledge and use of estimating software

Responsibilities

Manage and complete all parts ordering, including ordering parts based on initial estimates and supplements.
Communicate with parts vendors to order parts as needed.
Partner with Repair Planners to ensure parts accuracy.
Monitor parts deliveries, track status, and communicate with vendors.
Update Repair Planners on parts status.
Receive and check in parts, ensuring they match repair orders and are accounted for.
Inspect delivered parts for damage upon delivery within two hours of expected drop off.
Return incorrect parts immediately to the vendor.
Drive parts-related KPIs, including monitoring parts margin, pending credits, shop consumables inventory, and material spend.
Communicate with the General Manager to discuss optimization strategies.
Coordinate parts invoicing, ensuring invoices are posted daily in CCC One and making corrections as necessary.
Support Body Technicians with parts knowledge, supplying reference materials for proper parts usage.
Stay updated on laws and regulations regarding parts installation.
Lead Parts Team (if applicable), serving as a mentor and directing the activities of the Parts Assistant.
