In this position, you will work alongside our successful Parts team to help lead the team to success! This is a full-time position that will normally require working Monday-Friday.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with auto parts sales, required
  • Previous Leadership experience
  • Ability to lift occasionally 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic
  • Automotive & Technical knowledge is required
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Organized and friendly personality
  • Demonstrated ability to manage others
  • Time management skills
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
  • Team oriented and self-motivated
  • Able to work with little supervision
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Managing inventory based on demand and cost targets.
  • Recording and analyzing the movement of parts using stock-control systems.
  • Maintaining accurate records of parts replaced under warranty and details of faulty parts.
  • Working closely with the Service Manager to ensure parts are timely for technicians.
  • Hiring, training, and monitoring parts department staff.
  • Forecasting goals and objectives for the parts department.
  • Maintaining inventory consistent with the requirements of various departments.
  • Creating pricing guidelines for customer categories.
  • Monitoring and adjusting inventory.
  • Ensuring all parts are properly tagged.
  • Supervising stock order procedures.
  • Enforcing guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
