About The Position

The Parts Manager is responsible for ordering parts and tools for the Technical Center and the steel pail plants. Ensures that parts or supplies needed for production are available for employees and other plant locations as needed.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a relevant field such as manufacturing or the automotive industry
• Able to read engineering drawings and assemblies
• Mechanical knowledge
• Self-starter
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledge of inventory monitoring practices
• Excellent communication and sales skills

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels
• Order parts in advance
• Administrate and manage Parts Inventory database
• Sell manufactured parts to clients
• Source new suppliers for parts and tools
• Plan promotions on parts that are for sale
