About The Position
Lautenbach Recycling is seeking a Parts & Service Coordinator to join their Maintenance Service Team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of shop and fleet maintenance by managing parts procurement, tracking inventory, and organizing maintenance workflows. The ideal candidate will enjoy a fast-paced, hands-on environment, be adept at juggling multiple priorities with accuracy, and take pride in supporting operations behind the scenes.
Requirements
- Experience in parts ordering, inventory management, or service coordination (transportation, equipment, or automotive industry preferred).
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Ability to work with a variety of people—drivers, mechanics, vendors, and office staff.
Responsibilities
- Order parts for trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Receive, track, and manage incoming parts inventory.
- Issue and close purchase orders (POs).
- Process invoices for completed work orders.
- Support the maintenance team with scheduling, documentation, and other administrative tasks.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
