About The Position
The Southwest Wastewater Treatment Plant in the Environmental Services team is seeking a Parts & Inventory Control Clerk. This role will implement and maintain a parts and inventory control and acquisition system and payment processing to support the operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment and materials for our treatment plant.
Requirements
- 18 months of experience with parts and inventory control in the areas of industrial, vehicular, and/or mechanical equipment with responsibility for carrying out such administrative duties as requisitioning parts, equipment, and supplies.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Proof of United States Citizenship/Authorization to Work in the United States as established by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986 is a condition of employment.
- Pre-employment drug testing is required.
- Must complete the City of Springfield on-line application in its entirety.
- Candidate profile must include all employment history with accurate and complete information prior to submission.
