About The Position

Pohanka Automotive is seeking a Parts Receiving and Inventory Specialist to inspect, check in, and manage parts shipments. The role starts at 5 a.m. each day and is responsible for keeping the parts storage area organized and returning unneeded parts to reduce waste.

The position is part of the Pohanka Family of Dealerships, a group with 20 dealerships across Northern Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Texas. The company describes its team as dedicated and collaborative and emphasizes supporting employees’ career development and skill building.

Requirements

• Experience with auto parts or inventory systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented, professional appearance, and strong work ethic.

• CDK experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts check-in process from start to finish.
• Put stock and special-order parts away properly.
• Develop and organize bins and parts locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Return unneeded parts to the manufacturer or vendor.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Understand and follow applicable federal, state, and local industry regulations.
