About The Position
We are hiring Parts Inspectors / Quality Assurance team members for a premier metal tool manufacturer in Davenport specializing in high-quality drill bits and precision-machined components. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous inspection or manufacturing experience, or mechanically inclined individuals looking to build a long-term career with a stable, employee-owned company.
Requirements
- Previous Quality Inspection or Manufacturing experience preferred
- Mechanically inclined candidates encouraged to apply
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Good vision and ability to work with small parts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Stable work history required
- Must provide an updated resume reflecting all recent work history
- Must pass: 7-year background check
- Drug screening
Responsibilities
- Inspect metal drill bits and precision-machined parts
- Measure products using calipers, gauges, rulers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Verify dimensions and quality specifications
- Identify and reject non-conforming materials or products
- Perform visual inspections and quality checks throughout production
